Classroom re-organization update
I have reached out by phone or in-person to all 70 student families directly impacted by our classroom re-organization with a new teacher or a new classroom. Please check your voicemail as I couldn’t directly speak with all parents and guardians. If you have any questions or want confirmation of an impending classroom move, contact our office, and we will confirm. Classroom teachers will discuss the re-organization in class today in preparation for the transition to new classroom organizations beginning Thursday, September 26th.
Staffing update
I’d like to welcome Mr. Ryan McGlade to our QVPS Kodiak staff. Mr. McGlade will be teaching in our grade 7 class beginning tomorrow.
I’d also like to congratulate Mrs. Ashlee Syer, the successful candidate for our additional primary prep position. Mrs. Syer is on maternity leave, and Mrs. Milette will take on the responsibilities of JK/SK prep in the immediate future.
Finally, I’d like to welcome back Mrs. Jennifer Cheesman, who is our new permanent DECE in our JK/SK class. Mrs. Tomilson has accepted a DECE position at Langton Public School. We wish her all the best in this exciting new career chapter.
