Mrs. McKinnon, Mrs. Nielsen, and our one of a kind volunteer, Ms. Dickson would like to congratulate all of the members of this years running club that came out every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning to get some exercise.

On Wednesday, October 4th two spirit leaders and twenty-one Grade 1 through 6 students travelled to Ken Reid to compete in TLDSB’s Cross Country Run. Although we did not have any top 10 finishes, we had several personal bests and a great deal of sportsmanship. Way to go Queen Vic! Special mention goes to our top finishers in each division: Lillie G., Chayce G., Erin M., Calenn W., and Cody T. It was great during the meet to have so many parents, grandparents, and family members come to cheer on our runners! Your enthusiasm and support definitely added to our fantastic day!

Running Club Members included: Ezra G., Bentley H., Alexander H., Devyn L., Colton S., Shyden G., Maddox M., Emma S., Sabastian C., Marshall P., Evan C., Madison O., and Tyler J. A Thank you goes out to Amelia T. who helped the runners keep track of their distances on many practices.

Running Club and Cross County Team Members included: Teya C., Lillie G., Brooklyn H., Rowan W., Emerett D., Robert E., Chayce G., Mason M., Kianna D., Erin M., Emily R., Ayden C., Ethan C., Ethan A., Wyatt F, Wyatt M., Liam S., Calenn W., Thomas E., Cody T., and Dominic W.

Special mention goes to our spirit leaders who came and ran and cheered on the team at every practice and the meet – Summer G., and Savannah G.

Keep running and we look forward to improving our scores even more next year, Mrs. McKinnon, Mrs. Nielsen and Ms. Dickson
